大学第一天的英语作文
My First Day at College
I still remember the day when I first came to college. Being a boy of 17, I was longing for a new life as a college student; but, at the same time, I had no idea what college life would be like.
When I first arrived at the campus, I was immediately struck by how different it was from what I had imagined. The new campus was much larger than my high school, and instead of the large buildings I had grown accustomed to, there were only some smaller ones. Despite this, I was determined not to let it discourage me. As the old saying goes, "You can't judge a book by its cover," so I chose to give my college a chance.
Entering the dormitory, I was greeted by 10 smiling faces that warmly welcomed me. This made me feel both amazed and delighted. It was a great honor to be rooming with 10 freshmen from 9 different provinces.
Throughout the day, I met many upperclassmen who were eager to help us freshmen. One of them even went out of his way to assist me in finding my dormitory. Although I was very tired, I still found the whole experience quite amusing.
As I looked around, I realized that college life would be a blend of excitement and nervousness. Everything was so different from what I was used to in high school. But I was determined to make the most of this new opportunity and adjust to college life as quickly as possible.
In conclusion, my first day at college was a mix of emotions, but overall, it was a very exciting and promising beginning to my college journey. I am looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead and am excited to see what the future holds.
